I've opened a credit card account with the Nationwide BS. If I transfer my outstanding balance from my Halifax card it will be 0% for 6 months.
I've just found out that if I don't clear the total balance transfer within the 6 month period I will be charged interest from the initial date of transfer. Is this the normal practise with credit cards?
I am not sure about you, but it is certainly not uncommon practice. Ripoff yes, uncommon no - there are better deals out there tho - Mint, Egg, Barclaycard, Natwest Pt, etc etc
