Barclaycard 0% until August 2005

i (exising customer) tried to balance transfer 5K online and an error reported i must choose a figure between 250 and 2000 (i thought it was 5K upper limit)

so i called CS and they said I wasn't eligible for the offer! I have a 0 balance and a 12K limit - i explained this to the CSR but she said although i could get a 12K cash advance tommorow i couldnt take advantage of their special rates because the computer said so!

The 0% offer is for *new* customers. According to their website, *existing* customers get a different offer - 2.9% APR ...
