cahoot info problem

Feb 29, 2004 2 Replies

Hi,

I rang the cahoot help number and as usual they asked me for the memorable information. I gave the wrong answer so they said they have to send me a letter to reset all the password and memorable infos.

this seems quite stupid as it could have been done via website.

does anyone have experience of this? Basically it seems to me that for a week i now cannot access my account

I have so many pieces of "memorable information" for different purposes that I can hardly remember any of them! I took about 6 tries recently to get a password right. I think it's getting like the principle that passport photographs only look like the person if they're a forgery, someone who can actually remember their passwords must be a fake :)

These are part of their (well, Abbey National's) fraud-prevention measures, and you just have to grit your teeth and get through it.

And next time, remember your memorable information!
