Situation is I expect large balance from from a savings account to be credited to my natwest account which I then wish to transfer to a halifax account (which has a ac & sort code), I was thinking it would be quicker to pay it electronically by online banking than to write a cheque as halifax take something stupid like 10 days to clear a cheque. Is there a maximum amount that can be paid by natwest online or telephone banking?
