It would be really nice if I could create subdirectories in my Pictures directory. I could have a directory for each department/category/supplier and keep the pictures reasonably organized and separate from the Taskpad, Custom POS button & store logo pics.
Please give us the ability to enter a path instead of just a filename.

You can specify a different path from the default "pictures" but all your item pictures must reside there. No sub directories.
On the other hand leave the sytem pictures in "picture" as some of the internal code points there. This, at least, seperates your item pictures from the others.
We use ThumbsPlus to catalog our item pictures according to UPCs.

Mark, did you know you can use a url in the picture field instead of just a filename? That way you don't have to ditribute the pictures to each store, keep them on your web site and arrange them however you want.
