MS POS Printer and usb issues

Hopefully I am in the correct place or can be redirected there. My customer just updated to the recent refresh version of MS POS. He initially had reciept font size issues (Epson printer, unknown model), being the font size was too large. Also, at approximately 5pm, everyday, the handheld scanner ( Voyager - Metro Logic MS9540) will beep and not function unless the program is turned off and restarted.

Finally there are printing issues with the UPC labels, after the refresh, the print out does not show the description of the product. It only shows the UPC bar and price. Before the refresh, it would display the Product desription, UPC bar and price.

Can't help with the Epson.

I would look to see if there is something in the Task Scheduler that is kicking off at 5PM.

He may have to modify the label for his printer, maybe a font size or margin was changed. POS Manager | Tools | Print Labels | Select the format in the drop down | Edit format button

I spoke with another employee, who is some what computer literate and she stated that the USB issue will occur at other times than 5pm. I have never been informed of this until after I posted the initial msg. I will check to see if there is anything scheduled, though I am relatively sure there isn't.

The mgr also explained that when creating print labaels, he still sees all the fields he previously saw, yet the description is not printed anymore.
