my register went offline yesterday because of a networking problem, at the end of the day I tried to run an x report but the computer said that I was not able to do this on an offline database. I closed the pos program and reopend it online. I understand that at this time is when it should have said that the databases where going to synchronize but it did not say that it opened as it normally would and showed a total sales of what we had sold prior to going offline. I have the receipts for the sales that we did and the cash recipts are not a problem, the problem is all of the credit card transactions that we did for the day apparently are lost from the database.

I tried swiching from my online database to my offline database to see if the transactions would show but they did not.

I made the system go offline, ran a couple transactions put the system back online and the screen to synchronise did show up this time I don't know what happened.

I also went to store ops manager/ journal/ update batch info to update the blind closeouts but it is only showing the two times that I went offline and back online with my test transactions, the one I am looking for is not there.

I also pulled up a few of the customers that we sold to yesterday to see if the missing transactions would show on their history but no history is showing for yesterdays transaction, after going offline.

Please help

No, when the register go to online mode, it synchronize data with "onlin e database", without ZReport... For to go online mode, please verify that the database is available on the network, close POS program, and re-open.

After, reprint xreport.. and if is ok.. run a zreport for closing.

Did you look for a blind closed batch?
