has anyone encountered this problem? Every time I open POS, Internet explorer opens up in the background with MSN page. I cannot minimize or quit the application. I do not see the application listed in the task bar when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del buttons. Can anyone out there suggest a fix

Esc does not seem to do anything to the internet explorer. Only closing the POS screen also closes the explorer. I have opened other applications such as word and excel but the problem seems to be only with POS screen.

Sounds like it may be the Net Display. Go into the Screen Properties Ctrl F6...is the Show Net Display option checked, if so uncheck it.
