Printing Labels from Items Screen

I've been adding new items and getting ready to open a new store. After I create each Item, I am producing 3 labels.

The RMS label process is wearing me out!

Can I reduce the steps? Can I identify my default label design for this function so that I don't have to select the label format each time?

Can I print straight to printer rather than having to see the label in Preview... and then finally get to print my hard copies?

Thanks for the help,

Don

If you are printing labels one item at a time with a dedicated barcode printer (Zebra or Cognitive), you can use our Power Ops add-in to do what you want. Highlight an item and press F12. You can print the quantity on hand by default, a single shelf label, or whatever quantity you type in. This also works when adding new items from scratch. Click New, define your the item including quantity on hand, and labels will print automatically when the item is a saved. Other features include automatic lookup code.

Default label formats are 1x2.3" for Cognitive and 1.25x2.25" for Zebra. Power Ops includes additional features when run from the desktop or in Manager, Utilities, Add-ins.
