This probably is a stupid questions but...When I want to recall a transaction, why can't I scan the bottom of the cusotmer receipt to recall that particular transaction? It seems to be coded by RMS but my scanner won't read it. Thanks in advance
Has to do with the format and amount of numbers. Try starting with a transaction number of 1000 seems to work.
Your barcode scanners need to be able to scan Barcode 3 of 9 format. You will just have to enable it on your scanner.

If you are unable to re-program your scanner, you can change the barcode type in the receipt.xml file to a more accomodating format.

The recall function is good for special order and other open receipts. However, it can also be used to void a closed sales receipt.
Does anyone know how to disable the "void receipt option" to restrict any salesperson from voiding a closed transaction from the POS?.....Thanks!...
