RMS PCCharge Setup

Oct 03, 2006 7 Replies

Hi, Accouding to RMS Implementation Guide,

- Remove PCCharge default user IDs (User1, User2, and so on)

- Add User ID that correspond to the Store Op register number (1, 2 and so on)

The error I have is "on PCCharge, User1 can not be removed." Can anyone tell me how to remove or rename User1?

Thank you,

I called PCCharge. They said the default user ID, User1, can not be removed. They gave me one more user ID for free to use instead of default ID.

Now the problem is that I have to call PCCharge to give me one more usr ID everytime when I setup with RMS.

Hi Jeff, Actually, that's great option if I can use either Citi or Chase Merchant service. I thought the free RMS built-in can be used with only Citi or Chase. Am I right?

Allen, it is my understanding that the "free. built-in RMS tool" can be used with any processor who utilizes Vital. I run it with Mercury in several locations. I dealt with PCC for 8 years and it is a nightmare to call them and sit on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes before I get through to a technician.

I'm using VisaNet (Vital) Service.

Store OP Admin > Config > EDC EDC software: Preferred Acquirer Credit/Debit Card Processing Advanced Options > Bank, Merchant

is this the free built-in tool?

now I have only Merchant Info to setup with PCCharge. I'll ask VisaNet for the Bank info to test it.

Kinnard, Yes, it is a nightmare to call PCC. Last time I didn't wait that long but still I agree with you.

Jeff & Kinnard, Thank you..
