Store Operations Manager Generic Error

I have a customer where on all of his back office machines when he is trying to launch store operations manager an error pops up "errors have occured" and the title of the message is "store operations manager" no error code, nothing else. It is the most generic message I have ever seen. None of the back office computers will launch manager. I can open up store operations administrator and connect to the database fine. I tried uninstalling RMS and reinstalling it. My next step is to kill SQL on all the b/o machines and rms delete program files and kill rms's registery enteries. Any idea's on solutions?

Look to see if the administrator is pointing to a non-existing link in the configuration for either register or po or?

What happens if you point to a local databse on the local machine not accross the network?

On the back office makesure window is up to date. Turn of antivirus and firewall Enable DMZ for main server on your router. Your main server should have static IP Can you ping main server from back office ? Other try Down load data on back office and See If you can open POS.
