MasterBuilder ActiveX error

Nov 12, 2006 2 Replies

Hey Guys, I have installed the Sage Masterbuilder client software on

12 different machines. I got to the 13th and final machine, and I get an activeX error.....Error '429' ActiveX cannot create the Object. The Masterbuilder client install requires .Net Frameworks 2.0 which Is on the disk, but I got from Windows Update. The CDrom in the last machine would not read the Masterbuilder disk so I had to share the cdrom from the server and install over LAN. I installed as the agent that loggs into that machine and also logged in as Admin. Both gave the same errors. Anybody have any ideas as to what this error may be caused by or a workaround for it????

Hey! I'm getting the exact same error on just one workstation where I am trying to install version 12 of MasterBuilder on it as well. Did you get this fixed? And if so what did you do to fix?

Thanks! James

You cannot install from a network share, according to SAGE.
