Hello to All -
Helping a friend with his printing business. 2 PCs connect over a peer-to-peer network that includes a file server. Each of the PCs has QB Pro 2005 Multiuser installed, and all company files are on the file server.
Either one of the PCs can individually open the company file with no problem. However, if the 2nd PC tries to open the company file while the 1st PC already has it opened, we get this error message:
Error: "The connection to the QuickBooks company file has been lost. Perhaps there has been a problem with the computer on which data file name resides."
The first PC still has the company file open and can work with it when this happens. Again, both PCs have multiuser access and we believe all user settings and etc. for multiuser access are correct.
Please help and thanks, John Murray
