Does Chase.com work with One Step Update?

I am using Q2006 Deluxe and cannot figure out how to get my chase credit cards to work with One Step Update. I can download transactions for each account individually, but I would like to get these accounts updates when I click on One Step Update.

Am I doing something wrong or does Chase.com not allow this?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Works for me....

I got switched over from FirstUSA and had some difficulties at first. Call Chase's tech support. They'll walk you through it.

I had the same problem - you need to go to log on to the Chase site for your account(s), click on the Customer Center tab, go to the bottom of the page and click on the "Activate Money, Quicken, etc." link under "Reference Center - Tools. Then, go the account in Quicken, and select Online services (or something similar to that in the account you want to download), and enter Chase as the institution. This will allow the one step, direct update. If this is replacing a previous bank, like First USA, you need to deactivate the previous download before activating the new Chase download.

I just got switched to Chase also and all I can see is that they offer web connect, not direct download? Are you saying that I can download using direct download without having to do the Chase download individually?

Yes. My Chase VISA does a direct download. I selected "Chase" as the financial institution, but I had to create a new login on the Chase web site, which I then used to activate direct download for my VISA.

I had a very hard time finding that spot but it worked. I wish my other banks would upgrade from qif to direct download.

Chuck,

You are a genius. Doing what you suggested worked perfectly. Thanks.

God bless you. Was a Chase customer and I never saw that I needed to activate the Web.
