Quicken 07 annoyance.

This is also happening to a coworker of mine, so I know it's not an isolated problem.

Regardless of whether or not I check the "Only show if there is an error" box, the stupid account download status windows is showing up after every automated/nightly download when I pull up Quicken.

Anyone else run into this? I got in touch with two different souls at Quicken "support" - Akkar and Hamish - and they both wanted me to super validate my file. I did try it, and it did nothing.

You are not the only user experiencing this issue.

"super validate your file" is Intuit's stock answer, similar to M$ telling you to "defrag your C drive". And just about as useful.

My dad has this problem with QP2007, but I do not. Seems like it's a selective bug.

Margaret

It doesn't seem to be a new bug. I've got Q2006, and I see that behavior, along with the window sometimes not appearing when errors are reported.
