quicken 2020 can't get internet access

This just started happening when I tried to do onestep update yesterday. The message is that the online service is unavailable and I should try in ten minutes. I did this multiple times yesterday and then just now. Same message.

The last time I was successfully online with Quicken was about 3 weeks ago. Has something changed?

If you haven't already, I suggest you reset the Quicken ID associated with the data file:

  1. Select "Edit > Preferences..."
  2. Select "Quicken ID, Sync & Alerts"
  3. Select "Sign in as a different user"
  4. Enter "yes"
  5. Select "Sign Out"
  6. Sign in with the same Quicken ID
