Quicken no longer working

I have Quicken 2016 Premier. 3 days ago the downloads were not working. s
eemed to be a known problem. reactivated account. my lifetime planner als
o not working. chat line told me to reinstall. have been on chat and phon
e with quicken support for the last 3 days to no avail. anyone else experi
encing problems???

Starting 8/5 the same version would crash when trying to open any file or backup. An hour of tech support ended up with downloading the original install and a "clean" tool to remove all traces of the old install. They walked me through everything and voila, fixed! Other than a Quicken ID issue which was fixed with a 5 minute follow up call
