Report with category sub totals

Hi Folks,

I'm running Quicken H&B 2006.

When I print a Register report sorted by date with category subtotals the subtotals print (and display onscreen) at the TOP of each category section.

I'd like them to print at the bottom of each category section where they used to print with every other version of Quicken that I've used.

The 'Customize' report option doesn't seem to have an option for this and I couldn't find anything on the Intuit support forums that addresses the issue.

Would appreciate any advice.

thanks for your speedy reply.

But take a moment to reassure me...............they used to print at the bottom with earlier versions didn't they ?

Or am I having a 'senior moment' ?

No senior moment; they used to print at the bottom. Q2006 has made some relatively big changes to reports, and frankly I very much like the changes ... when they include getting the numbers correct.

Only some reports are showing subtotals in the header instead of the footer (Net Worth and Income/Expense, for example, still subtotal where they always did). And some reports, like the register report, can do both, depending on what you subtotal by (subtotal by "Month" and you get monthly subtotals at the end of each month's transactions;subtotal by "Category" and you get subtotals on the header line for the category). But there's no option to say you always want your subtotals at the end of a group.
