Epson TMIIV - help

Just go a new Dell Vostro 220S but it has no parallel port and my Epson TMIIV is parallel port driven? Anybody have any suggestion as to what low profile PCI parallel port card I could buy to make this work or should I change the Epson adaptor to USB?

That would be right up my alley. I have a TM-T88IV with a parallel (RS-232) interface, and I would dearly love to change it to a USB interface.

I looked on the Epson main site and EpsonExpert site, and didn't see any place to order parts for the TM-T88IV. I even searched for the part number (C32C823991) on thier site, and no joy. A Google search shows a slew of third-party companies selling it, though.

Epson and USB,

Depending on how you are using your epson printer you may experience some issues, if you are using your epson printer as a OPOS and usb you may get Uknown error when trying to print anything. There is no fix for this other than using the windows driver, but if you are using the cashdrawer conneted to the printer this is not a good option either. best option install a PIC LPT card
