I am have successfully installed/setup/ran RMS on a local machine. my customer had qs2000 and I was able to import database - no problems... it all checks out...
now i need to move it to production. this is a client/server setup. we already have a sql server running on our server for Veritas Backup Exec. I need to know if I am required to use the existing sql server or do i install another one for RMS. I hope to avoid any conflicts with Veritas.
If I install an additional sql server (if that is even an option), then i think i can work through the setup steps... but if i have to use the existing sql server for veritass, then i am stumped. the version that is running on the server now doesn't appear to ahve a gui configuration utility...
