Hi,
We have just starting using IBM SurePOS 500s with RMS and I have come to a standstill trying to configure the in built line display.
We usually use Epson OPOS drivers (Using T88VI printers) and i'd like to try and get the display working with this if possible, but if there is a different OPOS equivilent out there I would be happy to try that.
Any ideas?

Hey Matt,
yes, it is possible to use Epson LineDisplay with IBM 500. You can use a USB or RS232 depending on availability of the ports on IBM
500.MS RMS, way to go...

Did the unit come pre-installed with IBM's Configuration Utility? From here you can configure the display with an LDN, then the same name in Store Manager Register properties, Display tab. Worked fine for me first time and displays and OPOS drivers I normally consider the work of satan himself. This is in conjunction with Epson OPOS drivers which I use for thermal receipt printer/cash drawer.
