We have a client using the Metrologic MS2320 scale/scanner (in-counter) devices. they use a single com serial port that both devices share. The OPOS drivers are installed, and that is how RMS talks with the device. They work great. However, the client says if their register station sits idle for too long, and they try to start using the RMS transaction screen, it is frozen. they are unable to press any buttons, scan barcodes, or do anything. The RMS application is just simply frozen after not being used for a period of time. they have to force the application to close and re-open the application to begin using the program. The only thing unique with this client from all my other clients is this one is using the Metrologic MS2320 scale/scanner units. Could this OPOS device be causing RMS to lock up? Anybody experience similar problems? Any Ideas as to what I could try to do to resolve this problem?
