MS RMS vs RetailPro ?

Hi, does anyone know what are the major distinctions between RetailPro and RMS? Someone told me recently that RetailPro is much better and easier to customize. I have never seen it but I do find RMS to be a little difficult to customize and navigate around. We are looking to expand into few more retail operations and would like to make a decision on whether to continue with RMS or switch to something that we can fine-tune more to our operations.

Thanks.

Zorian,

Can't tell you about the product, although the QuickBooks POS is a cut down version of it. I would _seriously_ check into the company and its well being. Stock is at .065 (that's 6-1/2 cents) on the OTC Pink sheet,

It was de-listed from the American Stock Exchange in Oct., before jumping ship. As I understand it, they have approx. 65 resellers and you _must_ purchase and customize through those 65.

We have won all the deals we have come against Retail Pro in the last 2 years. RMS is a development platform with SDK and we have enhanced the product in many ways to answer the customer's requirements. Retail Pro has no Accounts Recievable and its internal software investment is in no way comparable with Microsoft. At the moment Microsoft is investimng over US$10,000,000 per year on the software development specifically in Retail POS. I know where I have invested my money.
