I have a customer that I am setting up..this is my first..they have a pole display with RJ45 connector??where do I connect this too?
I have an epson receipt printer..unfortunatley I dont know the model but it only has an RJ11 port...which of course plugs into the cash drawer....
I only have one network card in the pc..but where the pc is anyways this connector wont reach...any ideas???
The RJ45 connector needs to plug into a special adapter that should have come with the pole display. This special adapter then has a serial port connection (usually) and a wall plug adapter.
DO NOT plug this RJ45 adapter into your network card - it will ruin the card and likely the display.
