Printer Receipt Problems

I'm using 2 printers Star SP212 & Samsung Bixolon SRP-275. running RMS on 2 complete computers that are networked together. Under the receipt properties it is set up in the default but when we go to print out a receipt it prints out a 12" page with all the info double spaced. We have tried changing ie. top margin, bottom margin, paper height etc but still have a long receipt printed out, also in preview it looks fine spaced right etc What are we doing wrong or is there another way the printers should have been set-up? Would really appreciate any help anyone can give me also we have contacted our RMS reseller and what he has sent us has not helped.

Can't help of the Samsung, but on the Star, go into the Properties | Print Preferences | Paper Quality tab | select Friction for Source | Advanced Button | Paper Size 63mm x Receipt | Ok | Ok | Device Settings tab | Select

63mm x Receipt | OK

To check, go back into the properties and in the big Paper Available box and it should say 63mm x receipt.

Then go find a new reseller, this is pretty basic stuff.
