RMS Error

Hi,

I am having problems when exiting POS, i recieve the following error after i click Yes to are you sure you to close Store Operations POS;

Run-time error '424': Object Required

I believe it is something to do with the cash drawer we are using, the cash drawer is connected to a receipt printer and i have configured the OPOS software and both the cash drawer and printer work prefectly. However if i remove the cash drawer from the register configuration in manager the error goes away leading me to believe a problem with the cash drawer!? If any body else is experiancing this problem your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Smithy, We have noticed the same problem at our till. The message is Run-time error '424': Object Required. We haven't found a solution yet. Other registers with the same configuration do not have this error. It is an intermitting problem, it occurs sometimes either right after the sale has been posted, or after signing in as cashier with a password.

Any clues?

Hi liesbeth,

Finally managed to find a solution. I've uninstalled the OPOS drivers i was using and installed drivers for the Epson TM-T88III printer. Set up both the printer and cash drawer and the run time error has gone away.
