RMS Hang up

In Register Properties, Cash Drawer Tab, make sure "Wait for drawer close" is unchecked. This may not be the problem, but it's the only thing I can think of that might cause a delay right there.

Do you have any add-ins installed that run either at the end or beginning of a transaction? Any other mods like database triggers that might be running on insert into the transaction table?

This happened to me. It takes 15-30 seconds to print receipts. Even when you lookup journal, the PC gets really slow.

What I found was that I had the POS PC'c Windows default printer (not the receipt printer) on a laptop on the network. When the laptop is plugged to the network, the RMS has no problem. But once unplugged, the RMS looks for the default printer. That causes the delay. RMS uses Windows default printer for printing and viewing receipts even though the receipt is actually printed from OPOS printer like Epson TM.

I find some thing important when i press ENTER to remove change screen. if system hang it's give me (warning 941:The copy protection that used to be on this register was not found. Do you wish to continue?) I dont khnow why this massamge is comeing if dongole is there?

Any Solution??
