Scanpal2

Has anyone had any luck using the Metrologic Scanpal2 to update inventory with RMS? All my customer is concerned with, is to update on hand quantities. I understand that RMS doesn't support importing very well. I have tried the Import Utility used for Quicksell, but have not had much success in getting this to work. When I download the lookup file from RMS to the Scanpal, and than scan an item, Scanpal does not show description current on hands and so forth. Even though the original lookup file had those fields. I am thinking that something is not programmed correctly in the Scanpal. Any suggestions would be greately appreciated.

Hi,

We have many clients using ScanPal 2. It works good with RMS. Just use it to scan the barcode and enter item qty. Than download the txt file and upload into RMS physical inventory count.

TIm, We have produced a more sofisticated Inventory Count that runs on a windows pocketpc. This show the item description when scanned and also updates the items in real-time without the need of docking. You are also able to edit the item's proerties when you scan it.
