I have the EPson OPOS drivers loaded for my TM88III printer installed and the RMS program config'd to use it just fine. But it won't pop my cash drawer. I have an APG drawer plugged in to the RJqq jack on the TM88III printer. The OPOS program doesn't let me setup a drawer device that seems to work.
Configure the drawer in the OPOS software by right-clicking on Cash Drawer and selecting add new device. Choose the same port used by the EPSON printer and do a Check Health Interactive. If this does not work, verify the cash drawer cable is properly plugged into the receipt printer. It should be RJ-45 into the cash drawer and RJ-11 into the receipt printer. Hope this helps!

I very rarely use AGP drawers, but I believe that they should be set up as "Standard", not "Multi-A". On the second page of the OPOS setup, there's a button called "Device Specific Settings" - click that and change the pulse to High. Then try Check Health again.
That's from memory, so the button and setting names may not be exactly right - they should be close though...

Now, I use the OPOS utility to upload the logo file, which it seems to do OK, but when the RMS prints receipts, no logo. Is there something special I need to put in the Receipt properties to get the logo to spit out?
Now that we know that Manager was blocking the printer, you can fix that... There's an option in SO Manager, File/Configuration/Options. Don't remember if it's a General Option of a POS option, but it says something like "Share OPOS Devices with other applications". You should check that.
On the receipt format, there is a property that says "Show Logo" - that needs to be True. There is also a place to enter the logo filename. You don't need to pre-load the graphic, RMS will send it as part of the receipt.
You need to have a very small and simple graphic to get it to print. It MUST be a monochrome bitmap - not a grayscale gif or jpeg. MONOCHROME BITMAP. It needs to be less that 20KB in size. It's Dimensions need to be such that they will fit within the receipt margins - the receipt printing engine will NOT scale the image at all and if it's to big it will just be ignored.
Try getting the default logo that ships with RMS to print - if you get that to work, you just need to work on your image until it fits...
Glenn Adams Tiber Creek C> Shutting down the POS manager worked Thank you.
