Bank does not show in PIN Vault

Greetings,

Trying to set up Quicken 2006 for online services here.

I have signed up for, and used, internte banking with US Bank for my checking account. I can also access it from within Quicken, but have to manually sign in. Quicken shows that "transaction download is activated" for this account.

However, this account does not show up in the list of accounts in the PIN Vault. I have successfully set up three credit card accounts in the PIN Vault; they show up and seem to work fine. I didn't pay any extra fees for these to work.

I am confused about whether I need to sign up for US Bank's $3.95/month service in order for this to work.

Advice appreciated.

Edit the PIN vault manually and add it. I think it's on the OnLine drop down list.

I can't answer the specifics of whether US Bank only permits direct connect downloads if you pay the $3.95 charge or not - you'll have to call them and clear that up.

Once you know, you can then disable your US bank account for transaction download. When you re-enable it for trasnaction download, it will (should) recognize US Bank as permitting direct connect downloads and then you should be on your way.

For DirectConnect with US Bank, you must sign up and pay the $3.95. WebConnect is available for free.
