Downloaded transactions won't move to register - Q2007

I had this problem....it is most likely a problem with the r5 update. You have to delete and reload Quicken. Reload data from your backup.

Don't reload revision 5!

I have recently updated to Q2007 XG R2 (Canadian). My transactions are downloading just fine and appear in the Online Centre, but I cannot get them to transfer to the register. The Compare to Register button has no effect. The institutions are red-flagged on the Cash Flow Centre, saying that there are transactions to review. Meanwhile, the lists of transactions in the Online Centre keeps getting longer and longer.

A few people have mentioned this same problem in the Quicken Community site, and a couple of suggestions were made (like exit and re-enter Quicken), but these haven't worked for me.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
