Messed numbers on downloads

Jun 24, 2015 4 Replies

When I downloaded transactions on my Quicken Deluxe 2014 all the dates came down in the form of

6,2015

instead of the usual full dates. I have not changed anything that I know of. I did not update to the latest update because it was corrupted last time.

How do I correct this?

Thanks.

Did you change the date format in your system's Regional Settings? I've done that a few itimes and totally messed up Quicken's display. (Sure owuld be nice of Q had the option of using the syustem format or its own)

It also screws up the logic that decides whether to display those annoying "Do you want to upgrade?" messages.

Thanks for replying. Not that I know of, but who knows. Right now I'm validating so when that is finished I will look and see. (Taking forever)

Don't know what is going on. I don't think I changed Windows regional settings for time and date.

All dates in the registers appear as 5,2015 or 6,2015.

My Quicken settings are correct.

Validate didn't have a problem until the very end when it put ut a dozen "Com errors". My firewall was off.

After validating, no change.

It was the latest Windows 8.1 update that did it. Restored Quicken data files, re-installed Quicken: nothing fixed it till I did a system restore to before the latest Windows update and the dates became normal.
