q2014 error downloading from Chase Visa

Mar 28, 2015 5 Replies

Quicken 2014 one step update error indication: I don't know what the error is because all I get on the screen is a red "an error has occurred", with no further information or error code. Sometimes if I then initiate an upda te just on this account, it will go through without an error, so I don't ha ve a clue what it could be. Is anyone else having this problem? It just s tarted about 2 days ago.

Same thing is happening with Quicken 2015 so it's probably a Chase issue. At first I thought it was a problem at my end and disabled and re-enabled the accounts. Now I see that just repeating the download process works. It's intermittent.

I get this problem a lot with Chase and Quicken 2015. You can get more info by clicking a link on the failure message. I'm sorry, I can't remember what the link looks like.

I have learned to update Chase accounts separately from all of my other accounts. This has been going on for at least a year. Sometimes the update will succeed if I retry it, sometimes not. This is severely annoying. I have learned to retry once only.

Definitely annoying, but it only started within the last week. There are no links to click for additional information. Maybe I'll call Chase about it. Have not had to update Chase accounts separately very often in the past.

Same thing happens to me with Quicken 2013. I have One Step Update set to run at 6:30am and my Chase Mileage Plus account has an error for the last week or two. However, there is no problem with my Chase Quicken account. If I re-run the Update on the Chase Mileage Plus around 10:00 am, it works fine. This happened in the past and after a week or so, it starts working again.

Seems to have stopped happening. Must have been a problem on the chase side.
