What is the problem with one-step and Wells Fargo accounts. I get errors saying “it’s not your fault”. Been this way for months.

Without knowing anything about your configuration (Windows? MAC? Quicken Version number? Quicken error code?), it's hard to say.
Can you come back with that info that is usually always needed?
Also please provide the exact financial institution name, as shown on the Edit Account Details dialog for the Quicken account.
