We use RMS in a light restaurant setup. It is a buffet, and there are no custom orders. Just Buffet Adult, Buffet Child, and some drinks and desserts.
What I was wondering was can RMS do credit card holds? So we could swipe a customer's card, then charge the final bill at a later time. This is what full restaurant packages can do, and we are running 1.2, and were told it could not do this. So I'm wondering if 1.3 can, because that alone would be reason for us to upgrade.

but haven't looked at them. 2.0 as I know it right now will not do it either. Know more Tuesday.
