Epson Thermal Logo

I have installed Epson Thermal TM-T88III receipt printers and having problems getting "Storelogo" printed. Storelogo.bmp is 120X67. It shows on the receipt preview but it will not print. I am using OPOS drivers and the rest of the receipt is perfect. There is a field in the receipt properties that ask for a "Logo File Name (Header)" that is blank. Should something be entered in this? Left margin=0 Right margin =.25 Paper width is 3.1.

Hi Tony and Solar,

It sounds like you are doing everything correctly but you need to make a configuration change. Check the path in Store Operations Administrator. Go to File>Configuration and open the Register tab and click the magnifier glass next to Store Logo. Make sure the correct file with .bmp extension is selected AND that the file type is Bitmap. If the incorrect file type is selected the graphic will display in the preview but will not print on the receipt. That should straighten out the problem.

Thanks for the help. I have done what you said and am able to get the default logo to prinf OK. But no matter what I do to my logo I still can not get it to print. It is a monochrome logo, 120 X 85 and is 4KB. Imight of resized it too small because it is fuzzy in the preview. Thanks.

Hi Tony,

Sorry for the late reply. I tried to see if I could recreate the problem you are having but it is working fine on my machine. The logo I tried is not the same size (180 x 23)as the RMS supplied files (120 x 25) in the Picture folder. I think RMS resizes them to fit automatically but I am not sure so don't quote me.

Try it again making sure you keep the default file names (storelogo.bmp, etc.) but using your images and that you have Show Header or Show Footer in the receipt properties as True. Let me know if it doesn't work. We'll get this figured out.

I went through this some time ago with the Epson TM-H6000 thermal printer. The logo would print on a laser printer and save in the receipt journals, but it would never print on the thermal. Re-sizing never helped either. I was saving the graphic as a black and white. I finally solved the problem when I realized that it had to be a 1 bit graphic - true black and white. My graphic was black on a white background, but each time I edited it and saved it, it was saving as a greyscale.

Might not help you, but then again...
