storelogo

I am attempting to load store logo for receipt. From info off this board I think it has to be .bmp. But default seems to point to jpg. I know this because when I change name of storelogo.jpg the logo goes away from the receipt properties. When I enter logostore.bmp into header logo of the receipt properties I get error "Compiler Error Token 'storelogo.bmp' was not found. These logos are in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Pictures directory. Any one know how to resolve this. Thanks in advance

You're getting that token error because you need to put quotes ("") around the string when you set the property. Also, You will probably need to include the full path, but you can try it with just the filename. Finally, in SO Administrator, in File/Configuration, on the Register Tab, there's a field where you can set the default path to the store logo - you can change the filename there rather than in the receipt properties.

Hello. I read this string and followed the advice. I've got the entire file path in quotes in Receipt Properties. In the preview panel it shows up looking great. When I close the editor, and restart the POS, the receipt shows all changes except that it doesn't print the logo. Also, it isn't leaving a blank space for the logo. It's as if it dosn't exist. I've tried bmp and jpg. Neither works. The logo was color, so I also tried making it 8 bit grayscale. Still nothing. If I'm using a Epson thermal receipt printer, does it need to be in simple B&W or is there something else I'm missing here? Thanks for any advice.

It should be a monochrome (black & white) bitmap, the file size should be less than 20Kb, the native size of the image should be small enough to fit within the margins.
