Intuit Refusing to Honor Quicken 2005 Rebate

I bought TT04 and QD2005 and submitted the rebate to Intuit for $10 on TT and $30 on QD2005. They sent the $10 and ignored the other part of the rebate. After a couple of emails back and forth for more information (naturally, they "lost" the QD2005 PoP, but I had a copy of it), they said the $30 rebate was not payable because I bought the software from Wal-mart. Since there is no stipulation regarding what retailer you buy the software from, I have given Intuit 2 days to reverse this decision before I file a fraud charge with my state AG's office.

Is any one else having this problem? I used to like Intuit but these guys are getting slimier every day....

Ah, but see I purchased QD2005 at Wal-mart, not TT04 as documented here. My TT04 purchase was from Office Depot, so there is a loophole here.

I agree with you, but I was just showing you that they do have a policy excluding Walmart sales from rebates in at least the case of TT04.
