update for Quicken 2014 release 8

I had the same problem and the Mondo patch fixed the issue.

sking if I want to update Quicken before starting it. When I hit Yes I get an error message. I have been reading in this forum about Mondo patches, bu t do not know if this is appropriate for Quicken 2014 and, if so, which sit e I should use to get it. Thanks for any advise.

So maybe if you just move those files out of there (don't delete them in case it blows up Quicken) that at least would stop the "upgrade" popup when launching Quicken. Or maybe downloading and running that patch program will clean it out for us.

Thanks to all who suggested that I use the Mondo patch and especially to Je ffrey who told me where to find it. I went to the suggested site and it was very easy to download and install it in minutes. (I was away which is why it took me so long to acknowledge the respones to my email.)
