What you think is of no consequence. Bottom posting is the standard and that's the end of it. English is read from top to bottom and it makes way more sense to post that way. It would help if people deleted irrelevant quoted text, though, which is the bit of bottom posting most people forget.

They are afraid of getting cut when they install/change a USB card or whatever... At the smallest problem they call a technician and pay through the nose to have the it solved.

I do it myself, it's cheaper. ;)

No doubt, but I would have thought you'd be interested in not making demonstrably false claims in a public forum.

If as you claim all Mac users have an IQ of 50 or less and given that birds of a feather stick together your Mac user friends mentioned above must have a similar IQ level to your own, right?

No kidding... Whatever they are trying to do, if the OS won't do it for them, they have no idea how to. Computer sissies...

Your IQ has just lost *at least* 10 points.

(In this case, when you reach the bottom, you won't be able to go up... The exception to the rule!)

Having just got a thinkpad x60s for work, it's a really well-built machine. It's not that pretty, but it works well.

Last time we did this it was clear Mac prices were a heap higher, and you simply point out some small spec difference which was supposed to justify a much higher price tag.

The real difference is that you got all emotional and passionate about it, where we didn't.

This is the part that I don't get. Why do so many Mac users have a silly attitude like this?

Oh, I'm so independent from the mainstream, coz I got a Mac. It's just another big corporation that exists to take your money!
