MMF Cash Drawer not working in Microsoft POS

I have added a new cash register in Epson OPOS setup utility and tested successfully. Microsoft POS detects this cash drawer but does not operate when Epson T88III P is printing receipt in Microsoft POS software.

I tried using "Multi-A" instead of "Standard" for cash drawer setup in OPOS but no luck. Yes, I'm using OPOS for printer and tender types are configured to pop the drawer (although it is greyed out so that I cannot modify it). I found Peripheral testing utility in Microsoft POS, however, it list only printer and barcode scanner and does not list cash drawer.

In the OPOS setup for the cash drawer, Select "Multi-A" instead of "Standard", then select "Multi-AP" (to indicate Parallel).

Are you using OPOS for the printer as well?

Are you sure your tender types are configured to pop the drawer?

Those are about the only tips I can give you - I steer clear of POS for the most part - in RMS, there's a Peripheral testing utility, but I don't know if that carried forward to MS POS or not...

I just found that MMF Cash Drawer and Epson T88IIIP Receipt Printer settings worked in Microsoft Retail Mgmt Software. Further, both settings in OPOS (Multi-A & Standard device type) worked fine for me.

I think it may be Microsoft POS software related issue that cash drawer settings in OPOS is not working, unless someone out there has solution for it.

Certainly, I'm trying to print the Receipt and would like to open the Cash Drawer at the same time in order to complete a sale transaction.
