My cash Drawer won't open

My Cash drawer will not open in RMS. It works fine in OPOS. My recipt printer works fine. I have tried another cash drawer and that did not fix it. This happened all of a sudden. It was working fine and in the middle of the day it decided not to respond to RMS. My reseller was unsuccessful in fixing and Epson was unsuccessful. Any ideas, the names are set right. The drawer is not locked.

I would try removing the drawer from OPOS and re-installing it under a different name, then change the name in RMS and see if that works.
