Since the merger of Smith Barney with Morgan Stanley I've had transaction download problems with Quicken Deluxe. Especially on weekends. It just hangs as the "Updating Financial Institution Information ..." Anyone else?
Can connect with no problem using browser.

I haven't had that problem but I have had the problem I posted earlier where transactions on the 1st of the month don't get downloaded. jo
Monday morning my downloads returned to normal again. I've had this problem before, always on weekends. I think their servers cannot handle the load after the Morgan Stanley - Smith Barney merger and the servers crash. After the weekend they are reset and things return to normal.
