Q2010 - Release Update Problem

I just installed Quicken 2010 last night and it appears to want to update Q2010 to Release 2, but the upgrade fails. Anyone else experienced this problem and have a possible work around?

(The message was - Oops, could not complete the update, restart your computer and try again).

Restarting and trying again produced the same result.

Thanks for any insights. Charlie

wonder if it's the same error for Q2209 R7 ?

it might be the new Money Converter program that was not correctly packaged for the update ?

If you have Q2209, can you e-mail me the price history? ;-)

I solved the problem - I reinstalled Q2010 over itself and it install ok and during the installation, updated to Release 2.

Don't know what caused the initial problem!

It will only include prices from 2204 through 2209, and none of the companies have names you will recognize. Neither one is a problem if you are planning on living that long. Personally, I was going to buy some "Andromeda AntiGrav" at $207,000 per share. :-)

Good to know the greenback will still be quoted at the Andromeda Exchange :-)

I wonder what one share of class "A" Berkshire Hathaway "A" will be then? Maybe we should put the request into Quicken now to extend the number of significant digits they carry is PPS in investment transactions to be ready.
